Ok so maybe it’s me. Forza is harder than it looks, and I’m worried someone will judge me for driving a gold-plated Aston Martin when, in fact, I am not a rapper.

The Vulcan is great, once you get the hang of it. It grips amazingly with the correct setup. I had good luck with AWD and a rear drive bias of 75%, then going from there, making incremental changes to the suspension, differential, and brakes. Don’t worry too much about the low speed rating, it only matters on races that are long, straight highways.

But if you think that Vulcan is tricky to navigate , don’t try the VW ID.R Pike’s Peak car on Horizon 4. It’s got a lateral G score of like 3.5 or something. It feels almost unnatural to drive compared to other cars in the game.

I think so. I really enjoy hanging out with my youngest while he plays- he’s customized a few cars to match some of our current and former fleet, and the graphics are amazing. It’s like a virtual Cars and Coffee but we  don’t have to get up early or worry about getting run over by a Mustang.

Occasionally he convinces me to play, and..... it is obvious I haven’t spent much time playing XBox because I am terrible. At least I can grill, so I’ve got that dad-skill covered!

But I was giggling with joy as I blasted down a canyon in a freaking Aston Martin. The likelihood of getting to do that in real life is something  approaching zero. Let me live out my fantasies in a safe place....

They all feel unnatural... maybe there’s a way to turn down the steering sensitivity? I careen from side to side like a drunken sailor no matter what I’m driving. My son assures me he’s laughing with me, not at me.....

I noticed a similar thing when I started playing FH3, which I began after more or less completing FH4. Yeah, I believe you can adjust the sensitivity.

If you are driving RWD on dirt, it is a little tricky until you get a good feel for it. If you have the same problem with AWD, try putting the drive bias close to 50% and softening the suspension. Should make it a little more compliant, especially over bumps and loose surfaces. If the car starts to understeer too much, gradually go back to more of a rear-drive bias.

I love the ID.R. The bizarre handling is exactly why I love it. It may only top out at 150something, but you have the ability to go that fast all the time . It’s almost otherworldly...

I had the same issue for a while. Then I discovered that you can in fact change the sensitivity. It made a world of difference. I’d tell you how, but I’d have to kill you  I forgot how.
